gebiedsbijeenkomst
van 14 april
spraken
bewoners,
boeren,
ondernemers en
natuurorganisaties mee over de toekomst van het Lauwersmeer. Er werden
drie thema’s
toegelicht:
het nieuwe
meetnet
zoet‑zout, het
ecologisch
streefbeeld en
de
variantenstudie
voor een
mogelijke
zoet‑zoutovergang.
In rondes aan
verschillende
tafels konden
deelnemers hun
vragen stellen
en
aandachtspunten
meegeven. Veel
inbreng ging
over natuur,
landbouw,
recreatie,
waterkwaliteit
en de gevolgen
van een
veranderend
watersysteem.
Het waterschap
benadrukte dat
alle stappen
transparant
worden
doorlopen en
dat
belanghebbenden
bij elke fase
kunnen
meedenken. De
komende jaren
volgen
meerdere
bijeenkomsten
richting een
voorkeursvariant
